When last have you given thought to play? Just imagine yourself as a child and the freedom you have when you play. You feel young and alive and you have all the energy in the world to move mountains. You holler, shout, and scream to get the world attention. You feel free. This is what play is all about.
Every artist needs time To Play
Sometimes you’ve to go off the beaten track to find something new. It will not drop in your lap if you don’t go and explore. Play fills the mind with creativity and gives you the energy to produce great masterpiece. The time for play is now!
Here’s someways you can play
You can turn some music on while you work and hum with the tune. You can take your dog for a walk and play Frisbee on the way home. Also, to get your creative juice running in the morning doodle in a book. You might be surprise at what you discover through play.
Play and creativity
Play opens the creativity channel that artists need to produce work. They both go together. Play and creativity help you to expand your boundary and take risk by exploring the possibilities. So now you know the importance of play in art.
